Here's a short cut to normally very expensive and time-consuming marketing plans - this will so save you so much time, money, hurt, emotion etc... if you do these 2 stages right:

 

1. Find your truth

2. Shout it out loud (imagine yourself as Maria - Once I had a secret love... now I shout it from the highest hill etc)

 

But here's the rub - that truth is darned elusive.

So much so that most companies spend all their monies on stage 2 (yep, agencies, executions, strap-lines, tag-lines, tactics-for-goalpost, media-buying, Ashes Test match tickets) in an effort to cover up the fact that they never got stage 1.

 

So, instead I approach this task with the emphasis on the '1' (...did anybody else get a Dirty Dancing shiver-moment there too?)
