So, the work which I undertake for clients - whilst spread across various broad themes, has a couple or three central underpinning motifs:

 

First up: (cringe-alert spoiler) - my clients expect me to think, really think.

 

Next up: I work with businesses, teams and people who are prepared to make decisions, and then act upon them.

 

Next (+1) up: I tend to look for underlying truths:

 

Sometimes these are self-evident... once they've been made known; sometimes they liberate real business energy; sometimes they give permission for another conversation to occur and sometimes they are obscured by layers of over-paint, near facts and well-intentioned but misaligned prior investment (that, for sure, can be a little bit of hard-work for the ears to hear).
